The vision behind Cauzal Coffee stirred in founder Don Jacobson for over 25 years. A near-fatal accident in 1980 marked a turning point in his life. Since that time he has sought to align his business ventures with his passion to make a positive difference in the lives of others. As president of Multnomah Publishers, Don helped hundreds of authors bring more than 100 million faith-based books to readers throughout the world. In 2006, after selling Multnomah, he founded Cauzal Coffee, with the vision of helping people live generously and responsibly.
Because coffee is the second most traded commodity in the world, it makes sense to harness its popularity for philanthropic efforts. Don and the Cauzal team believe that consumers want to make purchasing decisions that benefit those in need.
